Former Virginia Governor Found Guilty

Former Virginia Governor, Conservative Bob McDonnell was found guilty this past Thursday on counts of traffic of influence while he was in office. The jury handed out 11 guilty verdicts on 11 counts against McDonnell.  He was not the only one... His wife was found guilty on 9 out of 13. The guilty verdicts included $15,000 for McDonnell's daughter's wedding. A business man even gave the couple a brand new Rolex Watch. Evidently, the gifts were received with a negative intent. In 2012, there were rumors that McDonnell could potentially be Mitt Romney's running mate. Now there is hardly any doubt that he will go to jail. McDonnell questions the judgement. He claims that is was just a nice gesture of the man, but really it was to help promote the man's business.
